About the Texas Peanut Producers Board

The Texas Peanut Board was founded back in 1969 and is funded by voluntary checkoff money. The Peanut Producers Board is the oldest agricultural commodity board in the state of Texas. We have nine directors and three staff members who work to support and grow the Texas Peanut industry.

Our Efforts Include:

  • Innovative Production Research to Increase Peanut Grower Profitability
  • Consumer and Grower Education Programs
  • International and Domestic Market Development
  • Promotion to Raise Awareness of Texas Peanuts

By working together, Texas Peanut farmers can help ensure our industry remains strong for generations to come.
